Systems & Software 2007 Innovation Awards Announced
Systems & Software, Inc., a leading Customer Information System (CIS) Solution provider for utilities, announced the winners of their 2007 Innovation awards at a ceremony held in Burlington, VT on October 2nd as part of the Systems & Software 2007 Annual Conference. The awards recognize excellence among water, gas and electric utilities for innovations in Customer Service, Business Process and Technology.
The Electric Power Board of Chattanooga (EPB) was presented the award for Innovation in Technology due to their utilization and flexibility surrounding cutting-edge technology. These initiatives included providing value-added services to their customers by leveraging state-of-the-art, real-time integration techniques to better integrate their operations. The award was accepted by David Johnson, VP of Information Systems and Anita James , Manager of Business Processes on behalf of EPB.
The award for Innovation in Business Process was presented to SEMCO Energy Gas Company for the creative and innovative processes demonstrated in customer service and collections. Autumn Mlynarski and Liana Murawski, both representing Customer Service, accepted the award on behalf of SEMCO.
The City of Akron Public Utilities Bureau received the award for Innovation in Customer Service and Technology. The City was recognized for their comprehensive deployment of customer service technologies with web services integration to better serve their customer base. Brian Reaman, Industrial Bill Service Representative, and Brian Linder, Customer Service Manager, received the award on behalf of Akron.
