Richard Troksa Appointed CEO of Exstream Software

5:21 pm   -   October 2nd, 2007

Exstream Software, LLC, the industry leader for enterprise document automation solutions, has announced that Davis Marksbury is transitioning his role as president and CEO to former IBM executive Richard Troksa, who has held various executive management positions at Exstream for the past four years. The transition was effective October 1, 2007. Marksbury will remain on the Board of Directors as chairman and maintain an active role in Exstream’s strategic planning and key initiatives.

“In January, Exstream will celebrate ten years as one of the top independent providers of enterprise document automation software. I believe the time is right for me to turn over the reins to a CEO who can take the company to even greater heights over the next decade,” said Marksbury, co-founder and chairman of Exstream Software. “Working with Rich for the past four years has convinced me of his ability to keep the company moving forward. With his broad experience in document technology, business development, and global product marketing, coupled with his strong leadership skills, I believe Rich is the perfect executive to take the company forward into its next phase of growth as a leader in the document automation industry.”

” We are very pleased that Davis will retain an active role in the company because his leadership is extremely valuable,” said Troksa. “This is a great time for me to take on this challenge. Several major enterprise customers have recently licensed our new Dialogue Live product, we have large opportunities in multiple industries and geographies, and the demand for our offerings worldwide continues to grow. We will continue to be aggressive in our pursuit of these opportunities.”

With more than 23 years experience in the technology environment, Troksa has held executive positions in development, professional services, marketing, and business management. Before joining Exstream, Troksa was instrumental in the creation and market delivery of many printing and output solutions, ranging from AFP architecture definition to launching Infoprint technology and solutions at IBM. He holds a BS in electrical engineering from Purdue University and an MS in engineering from Colorado State University.
